At G&J Family Daycare, babies are cared for in a calm, small group in our licensed home in the Rivers Edge community of south Columbia. Maryland allows a family child care home up to 2 children under age 2 at a time, so every baby gets close, personal attention from Mariam, the owner and provider, every day.
One infant space opens January 4. Ask about current infant availability when you book a visit.

How a baby's day works
- Babies keep their own feeding and nap rhythm; we follow your routine from home.
- Safe sleep: on their back, in their own crib or play yard with a fitted sheet only. Mariam is Safe Sleep Practices certified.
- Tummy time, floor play, books, music and gentle early learning.
- Families send labeled bottles, formula or breast milk, and food; we provide healthy snacks for older children.
- You see the day: photos and short videos through the day, and a direct line to Mariam.
